Heath at 4 months

How can you not just love this face!?  (okay, I am a teensy bit biased...)  But I really love this kid.  He brings so much happiness to our house.  If I had to sum up Heath in just one word I would struggle to choose between "Happy"  and "Slobbery".  He is the happiest baby I have ever been around.  You just have to look at him to get him to laugh or smile.  He is content to hang out in his bumbo, or swing, or just lay on the ground and watch his crazy siblings.  He is also the wettest baby I have ever been around.  And that is an accomplishment.  (I thought Peter was the most drooly).  His onsies are always wet after about 2 minutes of wearing it.  His salivary glands are definitely working.
He sleeps a good 7 hours at night.  Which is awesome.  But being picky like I am, I wish they were between 11-6 instead of 8-4.  But oh well.  I can't complain too much.  He also had a cold for about a month straight.  It was so sad to hear him up at night coughing and congested.  I am so glad he is finally better.
He is also growing like a weed.  He was 16lbs at his 4 month check up.  He is in the 65% for weight and the 90% for length.  I love his chubbiness!
To sum it up, I love my Heath!  This is the first time I have EVER liked having an child in the 'infant' stages.  I usually just want them to hurry up and get to 6 months.  But not so with Heath.  He is just so happy and perfect.  I am enjoying every second with him.  I love you Heath!

More Arizona Fun

 Stars Dance Recital

Brooke LOVED the show...a little too much! It was all I could do to contain her from running through the girls while they were dancing!

Bryans parents are moving to Chino Valley so the kids got to play around the moving truck.  What more could a kid ask for?  A big empty truck with a ramp down the back.  They were in heaven!

We also spent some time with Kim and Steve.  I finally met a kid that likes shoes more than Brooke!

Speaking of shoes...

A picture is worth 1000 words

We had a wonderful visit from my Nannie and Grandpy when we went back to Arizona.  It was so great to spend some time with two of my favorite people in the entire world (in quite possibly my favorite city too)!

Brooke pulls a "Mike Tyson"

The part that you don't see in this picture is Brooke.  That is because she was in serious trouble.  When she feels threatened by someone else, (mostly by Peter), this other part of her comes out.  It is slightly scary.  She becomes a biter.  It is quite possibly the meanest thing I have ever seen ANY two-year-old anywhere do.  During this particular scene she jumped into the match, and when she didn't get what she wanted, she bit Peter on the back.  So hard that she left a welt and you could see individual teeth marks for days after.

And she can look so innocent!

And here is the picture of the two of them at the Buckle invading the dressing rooms and taking it upon themselves to find new clothes...(this was AFTER the streaking...)

Disneyland Part 1

Peter's typical look before trying out a new ride.  The good news is that afterwards he was usually very happy and wanting to do it again!
My mom was super-woman and cleaned up a ton of kid puke on this trip.  Both kids were sick the first day we were there and Peter threw up all over one of the strollers.  I love sick kids.
Heath was super-chill and happy.  He got to go on a couple rides in the baby carrier too!
My sister Haley flew in from Oklahoma to come with us.  It was so great to see her
And of course my other sister Cori got to come as well!  It was so great to have so much time with my sisters!
My dad was there too! (It was his idea to bring Peter and Brooke to the Happiest Place on Earth...)
And of course we can't forget my little spit-fire, Miss Brooke.  She loved everything about Disneyland. (Unless she was throwing up.)

Peter is 4!

I have so much catching up to do, but I decided it would be best to start with the most recent event and then I will go back about a month and catch up.
My baby is four years old.  Wow.  I can't believe it.
Peter is the most easy going, mild mannered child.  For the most part.
The other part of him is almost as stubborn as his father.
He has been dubbed 'Sammy safety' by Bryan and I. (I am sure he will appreciate that later in life)
He LOVES Disney's Cars and Thomas and Friends.  He plays for hours with both of them.
He is getting out of the picky eating, slightly.  There are still certain foods that he has never tried- like tomatos, pickles, olives, and jell-o.  (I have offered, believe me!)
He is super sweet to his sister, and also super mean as well.
If the TV is on, you can bet he is sitting in front of it. He is GLUED.
He is very particular about the way the world works.  For example- If I call his 'sandals', Shoes, I will get corrected.
He loves being outside, and the playground, but still has a fear of swings.  He goes super-hero style on them, but not upright just yet.
Still takes a nap almost every day.
Starting to help me with basic chores. (YEA!)  Putting his dishes away, setting the table, making his bed, and putting his laundry away.
Knows his ABC's, can count up to 20 and is starting to read basic three and four letter words.

Stats- 50% for Weight, and 60% for Height.

Peter requested a "Cars" party.  Big suprise right?  I was so proud of the cake, but he didn't like the Mater part on the bottom.  (What a punk!)

We played a couple simple games, like "The worlds best Backwards Driver" and Peter and his friends became the "Pit Crew" and had a 'tire stacking contest' at "Luigi's Casa Della Tire Shop with chocolate mini doughnuts.  The cardboard cars were elegantly decorated by Bryan .

Naked and proud

I went to the mall with my mom to do some serious shopping at one of my favorite stores (I love Buckle!).  I took the kids and let me just say we had some serious fun.
The best part of this store (in case you haven't been) is that the girls that work there revel in putting together fun outfits for you to try on, so if you get stuck in a rut, they can seriously help your wardrobe!
Anyway, my mom and I were taking turns trying on clothes and watching the kiddos.  We had a slight lack of communication and the kids disappeared for a a short bit.  I came out of the fitting room and asked my mom, "uh, where are they?"  We combed the store and found them in the hand-i-capped room at the back of the store with about 20 different tops from random racks strewn all over the floor.
And here is the best part- Brooke came out of the fitting room butt naked and was streaking across the store as fast as she could dragging a shirt she wanted to 'try on'....
I about died.  Of laughter.  I had to hunt down her diaper that was buried in about 4 feet of clothing and talk her into putting it back on.  Then she proceeded to put on a purple camisole and demanded her pink sunglasses to complete the look.

Ah.  I love my kids.  It was an unforgettable trip to the mall.

P.S. I have an awesome picture I will post when I get back to my computer next week!
