Things I hate about moving (in no particular order)
1. Packing
2. Leaving Friends (esp. Kim and Steve)
3. Leaving Family
4. Leaving Jack
5. Eating out so much
6. Leaving my dirt running trails behind my house
Things that are positive about moving
1. Throwing things away so you don't have to pack as much
2. New place to rearrange and decorate and make 'mine'
3. no more living in my parents basement. (can I get a HECK yes!)
4. Making new friends
5. Exploring a new part of the country
6. Me staying at home to be a full time mommy! Yippee!
Its here at last, and bittersweet! Bryan is on the road in our Exploder w/ Chris and the trailer. We hope it makes it. The transmission is being retarded but no one could figure out the problem, so Bryan decided to chance it cross country... Along the way he will eat at RUDY's, visit his GRANDMA in MISSOURI, and friends in KANSAS CITY.
I get the pleasure of flying instead of driving 40 some odd hours. Peter, thank you!
More to come....

So You Think You Can Dance... Round 2!
Cheryl Evans/The Arizona RepublicHost Cat Deeley (right) dances with Cori Brewton, 19, of Flagstaff, during the "So You Think You Can Dance" auditions in Phoenix on June 26, 2009
So I thought I could dance, then I got violently ill. Not even joking. I lost about 5lbs this week because I couldn't keep any food in my system. And because I was puking, my sister Cori my friend Nicole Peterson went to the auditions for me, mostly as a joke.... And check out this picture that ended up in the AZ Central Newspaper! Yes friends, that is Cori and Kat Deely, the Host of SYTYCD! She got an interview, made it further than I did! WOW... I think part of it may have been her outrageous outfit. (Kat is wearing her headband and my friend Nikki's tutu! Hot stuff!) Its all about the outfit!!! (She is not really serious about dance, but she has a lot of fun and looks really cute.) Also, be on the lookout when the Fall Season starts for my friend Nicole P. She also got an interview and made it further than Cori did. She was REALLY ambitious with her attire and she has the flexibility of a slinky in her back.
EDIT: So I am not allowed to elaborate on any of this due to the fact that cori and nikki signed their life away. So if any of this is confusing, I am sorry!

Stinky stuff
I love being a parent, but sometimes it seems like some days are just full of poopies and other fun things that are stinky!!! Today was one of those. For sure. And most of the time it happens when Bryan isn't around to enjoy it! Last night I got to experience the first blow-out on a 'real food diet'- if ya know what I mean... Bath #1....
Then last night Peter's diaper didn't seem to be on him or something... his bed was soaking wet this morning and so the sheets got to go in the washer along with the pj's...Bath #2...
Then Peter came with me to run some errands around town and I heard something uh, abnormal from the backseat, ewwww, puke. Bath #3... and I got to shampoo the back seat of the car, wash the car seat and another set of clothes, as well as a very smelly little boy. Wow.
To end on a positive note, I will just to update the latest and greatest! Peter can give very good high fives and loves to grunt when he thinks something is funny. He is still not walking, but can crawl everywhere and has way more rhythm than his daddy! He loves music and shakes his little booty and it cracks me up. He also does a 'disco' arm with a point to the ceiling to the floor with the beat. If I ever figure out how to record a video to blogger I will post it. It rocks.

Happy Late Birthday... to me!

Birthday's just aren't as cool as they used to be. Its sad, but true. I don't like that if someone was to round my age, they would round up to 30. Being closer to 20 was so much cooler! But, my day was pretty cool because Kate Dahle made me a rice krispy 'cake' with the most awesome candle arrangement!
P.S Doesn't Bryan look super enthusiastic???

Hit the Road Jack!
I have a little catching up to do! We had a garage sale 2 weeks ago to get rid of junk to make our move to the east easier, and well, it was an adventure to say the least. To make a long story short, Jack, our dog, was run over by a car. And the owner of the car was the owner of Jack as well. Sad. Sad story. But there is always a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow! We thought he was a gonner for sure, but after taking him to the pet emergency room (who knew that even exisited???) we discovered that he had no broken bones or internal bleeding. Wow. Our dog has 9 lives. Just him and the roaches will be left here on earth after a nuclear war! He is has a hurt shoulder, but is on doggie bed rest for a couple weeks and he should be fine!
Ironic thing: we made enough at the garage sale to cover Jack's vet bill- almost to the penny!
