Clothing update

I did it! It was got ugly at times, but I managed to wear everything in my line of clothes. The only flaw was that I didn't wear them in the exact order I thought. And 1 shirt didn't get worn at all. I think horizontal stripes on a pregnant girl was a bad idea.

Toxic Gas and Bananas

My parents came out for Halloween. It was so much fun to have them here. Peter absolutely loved it! He was spoiled rotten the whole time. We went trick-or-treating at the Dental School. (Hence the picture of Peter in his Banana Costume with my mom) He hated his costume and cried every time we put it on him. This was the only picture of him in it. My dad was awesome and helped us save ourselves from our own ignorance. He was trying to help us fix our hot water heater and discovered that it was leaking carbon monoxide... oops! We had no idea. I am glad we are all still alive.

The little things

Bryan and I went on a date. You heard me right. A date. Meaning, no child. This was the first time we have done this since July. Wow. It was awesome. He took me to the Pitt basketball game. I was awesome and I realized how easy it is to go places with just the two of us.
1. We parked about a mile away because it was a nice night for a walk. (Not to mention free parking) Strange to just exit the vehicle and push 'lock' and walk away.
2. He held my hand while we were walking. This is nearly impossible to do because usually one of us is pushing a stroller.
3. We walked up hill and were still holding hands. Wow. Usually we are dying because its so dang steep we are bent over halfway trying to push the dang stroller.
4. My purse size shrank noticeably. I really miss cute purses. Small purses. Changing what handbag I carry like I change my clothes. This is also near impossible when you go out with a child. There is just too much crap to carry.
Thanks Bryan for a great night!

Books

Peter has 2 loves in life. Trucks and books. We read for at least an hour every moring. He gets done with one book and just brings me another, and another, and another. Today we read 17 books. Not even joking.

Trucks

and his other love, Trucks. He really loves
"BIG trucks"
So I was at Sam's club and just couldn't resist. We can just say Christmas came early at the Hays' this year!
Note: I might regret this present in a couple of weeks. The steering wheel has buttons to mimick construction sounds...

The Zoo

Pittsburgh has a pretty cool zoo and the weather was WONDERFUL a coulple of weeks ago so we took advantage of a 75 degree October day and went to the zoo. It was Jess's birthday too! This was Peter's first zoo trip!

Amber, Jessica and Jamie

Did he like the Giraffe's?

Sortof. He was enthralled with the nasty pond in the front of the exhibit because there were a couple goldfish. He could have stayed there all day!

Another example of Steeler's madness. Note the ONLY human's name on the pole explaining how tall an elephant is...

Gage, Payton, Peter, and Xo

One of Peter's favorites!

I wish I could have gotten his face from the front while he was checking out the elephants. Classic.

The Lion Den. This guy was a vocal one. He roared the whole time! Peter stood on his tippy toes to get a better view!

There is a really neat aquarium inside as well with Polar Bears and Penguins. Peter LOVED the penguins. He was jumping up and down and pointing at them while speaking what I like to call "Peter Chinese"
