Jamie and Katie

I live the life...

Francis and Katie

Who has Peter???

Don't worry Bryan can find a pissed off cop anywhere. He got a ticket for parking in the 'red zone'... I think not!!!!

Hello Handsome!!!

Bryan, Danielle, and Peter the Padiwan learner

May the Force be with you...

Who the heck does this Joseph Addison Thatcher think he is??

Caesar? Or a chick? Yup, a chick...

Oooh, I can use the Force to get some Rudy's!!!

Or I'll just squawk at it until mom hands it to me!

Bryan showing off his son? No, rubbing it in to Steve that he ate at Rudy's!

Stupid, horizontal stoplight.

Auntie Haley and Jamie and Peter

Well, It wasn't really 25 hours all at once, but 13 hours there and 12 hours back. That is enough to wear any four month old baby out, and mom and dad! It was a blast though! We kicked it all off with Rudy's, a BBQ place that is possibly Albuquerque's only redeeming quality. Peter enjoyed it wanted to take home the bottles! Then we got to stop in Colorado Springs and visit Haley, which was awesome. She is doing well, its her junior year at the air force academy and she is as busy as ever. She even got all dressed up to see me, how sweet! We finally made it to Denver around midnight and we stayed with Katie and Francis in their downtown apartment. Bryan got all snazzied up the next morning for his interview with the University of Colorado. (which was the main reason for the trip, I might add...) He looked very hot! :) His interview wasn't as scary as he thought it would be and he got to talk about Basketball the majority of the time... (nice, huh?) So, lets hope for an acceptance okay everyone!?? Later we toured the campus, which has an ice cream shoppe so I think Bryan will be okay with going to school there. For dinner we walked around downtown until we stumbled upon the most fabulous restaurant of all time- The Cheesecake Factory- mmmmmm, mmmm! (Its nice how our trips always seem to center around food.) Okay, back to the summary of the trip. Sunday was great too! I went for a jog downtown, about 4 miles, and got to run by the River and around big buildings, which was cool, and not too scary! Peter got to go to the park later and make noises at the Geese, which by the way you aren't supposed to look at if they are laying eggs, or something like that because they will attack you. After learning this bit of info, Bryan decided the best way to kill a goose if it was attacking would be to go for the neck.... ouch!!! Oh Snap! We also found a statue well, you see the statue, weird huh.... Caesar? In Denver??? Whatever. We topped off the day by BBQing with Katie and Francis. Bryan got a parking ticket, which would be typical for him! He always has bad luck. The trip home was beautiful and we drove through Aspen and all the little ski towns on the way to Grand Junction. It was a great time and I hope we get to go back there soon.
